does your interweb not work? can't figure it out? can't check your email or the wiki?

  • Is the Ethernet plugged into the data port?

  • Is your Airport on? Do you see a signal?

  • Go to System Preferences (from either the dock or the apple - top left)

  • Go to Network

  • Does the Ethernet have a GREEN Light?

  • YES? Go to Assist ME! and keep reading!

  • IF THE Built in Ethernet is RED....email Gwyneth Jones or Robin Black to submit a service center request

  • Now Choose Assistant. Let the computer go through it's paces

  • When asked, we connect via CABLE

  • Once the Network diagnostics goes through all the setups you should be back in business!

  • YAY!

  • If you get this screen, go BACK. Restart the computer. Log back in and try the Internet if it still does not work try this quick process one more time and if that still does not work email gwyneth & robin and we'll submit a work order :-) but really 9 times out of 10 that works! YAY!
